Good client facing documentation is crucial to presenting a professional outlook to your clients. At the same time, producing these documents must be quick and error free. In addition, they should be personalized.
TIPS has a fully integrated word processor which can use data already entered into the system to produce a multitude of documents exactly as you wish. TIPS comes with some templates that show what you can produce - you should use these as a base for your own templates.
Those users who are familiar with Microsoft Word will quickly appreciate the speed and ease with which Templates can be created.
TIPS uses underlying variables, components and templates for maximum flexibility and re-use of fundamental elements.
Variables
These are the basic building blocks and consist of simple data such as a name, address or policy number. Some more complex variables are pre-programmed for ease of use.
Components
These are building blocks that can be used in one or more templates. Example are Policy Lists, Accounts Data, Employment Summary etc.
Templates
These are the final top level documents and consist of variables and components.
Types of Templates
There are Document Templates, Component Templates, Header Templates and Standard Paragraph Templates.
Styles
There are hundreds of styles for you to theme your documents to match your corporate requirements.
NOTES
You can import existing Word or RTF documents into any template.
The Suitability Report Writer is entirely separate from the Template Maker except that they can both use the same Standard Paragraphs.
Mailmerge is not available in Version 1.
Templates are available throughout the system in those places that make sense! All private client file documents are available in a client file, policy related documents can be opened from a policy listing etc.
